Modernization and development of the acidifying process simulation system

Another research project, performed by Proeko is modernization and development of the acidifying process simulation system, which includes:

  • Core chamber heating system has been improved, providing for temperature control and data recording in resultant files. Expected temperature range: from room temperature to 160 °C.
  • Uniform process parameter (temperature, pumping pressure, differential pressure, back pressure) recording and control has been implemented. The system works parallel with the existing pump control system.

  • Pressure pump for hydrochloric acid up to 1000 bar

  • Pressure control system before the chamber has been implemented. Stipulated pressure range: from 0 to 600 bar. Due to the wide pressure range, two narrower ranges have been implemented: from 0 to 300 bar and from 0 to 600 bar. The digital data may be stored in resultant files.
  • Differential pressure control system in core chamber has been implemented. Differential pressure range: from 0 to 50 bar and from 0 to 400 bar. The digital data may be stored in resultant files.
  • Back pressure regulation and control system in core chamber has been implemented. Back pressure range: from 0 to 500 bar. Back pressure regulator - flow component made of stainless steel, control part of brass. Bothe parts are separated with teflon membrane. One of the features of this system is the possibility to control the outflow pressure of the core chamber. The pressure value should be entered before the test. Until the indicated pressure level is achieved, the outflow from the chamber is held. After achieving or exceeding the level, outflow valve is opened. The acid, flowing out of the chamber, cannot mix with working liquid (oil). The digital data may be stored in resultant files.
  • New service program, Windows 98 compatible, has been created. Measurement results are shown in a window. They may be stored in files.
