Reverse osmosis devices in labaratory use
Reverse osmosis is a natural process which consist on separation water molecules from other substances. The main part of the system is TFC membrane(thin-layer, polyamide), which is connected with preliminary treatment filters (polipropylene fibre and active coal). It allows to get water, which is devoid of pollutions like heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, ions. It's an absolute filter with the smallest known porosity.
It doesn't require regeneration. Final stage of treatment is ion-exchange column, which allows to get ultraclean water.
Reverse osmosis devices:
ultraclean water with top organoleptic parameters
(three versions depending on quality of recived water) :
- Classic RO-PRO water with conductivity below 0,5 S/cm, with no organic compounds
- Bacteriologic RO-PRO+ water with conductivity below 0,5 S/cm, with no organic cmpounds and bacteria (water double distiled on quartz glass)
- Professional RO-PROExtra water with conductivity below 0,09 S/cm, with no organic compounds and bacteria (water double distiled on quartz glass)
Types an efficiency of avaliable reverse osmosis devices:
TYPE | WATER QUALITY | EFFECTIVITY |
RO-PRO3 RO-PRO6 | < 0,5 S/cm | 3 dm3/h 6 dm3/h |
RO-PRO10 RO-PRO15 | < 0,5 S/cm | 10 dm3/h 15 dm3/h |
RO-PRO20 RO-PRO25 | 20 dm3/h 25 dm3/h | |
RO-PRO30 RO-PRO40 | < 0,5 S/cm | 30 dm3/h 40 dm3/h |
RO-PRO50 RO-PRO70 | < 0,5 S/cm | 50 dm3/h 70 dm3/h |
RO-PRO80 RO-PRO100-1200 | 80 dm3/h 100 - 1200 dm3/h |
CAUTION:
Effectivity was defined for typical water mains pressure - 2,5-3,0 atm and water temperature - 12 °C.
Higher pressure and temperature of entrance water will cause proportional increase of efficiency!
DEMINERALIZATORS IN LABORATORY USE
Modern demineralizators work on the basis of ion exchange. In columns, there is a composition of highly productive ion-exchange beds made by Rom and Hass or Purolite.
Cationite removes cations, anionite -anions. Columns are connected with preliminary treatment filters(polipropylene fibre and active coal). Exchangeable hydrogen and hydroxyl ions create water particle.
Demineralizators DI-1, DI-2 :
Technical data* for demineralizators series DI:
MODEL | COLUMN [inch] | AMOUNT OF RESIN [l.] | EFFICENCY MAX [m /h] | AMOUNT OF WATER IN CYCLE [m3] | RINSE SPEED [GPM] | APROXIMATE SIZE H x L x D [m] |
DI-1 | 8 x 35 | 20 | 0,6 | 3,5 | - | 0,9 x 0,3 x 0,2 |
DI-2 | 8 x 35 | 20 | 0,6 | 7 | - | 0,9 x 0,5 x 0,2 |

Explanation to the table:
1 for water with hardness 3 mval/dm3
UNITS:
inch = 2,54 cm
GPM = 3,785 dm3/min
15 PSI = 1 atm
1 mval/dm3 = 2,86 N° = 50 mg CaCO3/dm3
